My place to shout out loud about random stuff.

I write my articles through Windows Live Writer, and I publish them on my JoeUser blog. I have a registered Stardock.net account, so is that why all my articles are automatically posted on WinCustomize forums too?

Actually I registered with Stardock through WinCustomize somewhere in April. I read about JoeUser on WC, so I tried to make an account with the same username; but JoeUser told me that the username was unavailable. After seeing WC folk at JU, I followed my instinct and tried to login with my WC account. It accepted! That's when I figured out that my Stardock account can be used to login at all Stardock related websites , including WC and JU.

But does that also mean that all the articles and posts I publish on JU will automatically become available at WC too?  Can I stop that? Because some of the posts I'm planning to write aren't related with WC at all.

Only ones that have to do with WinCustomize areas in the forums. For example - if you post your article in the 'internet' or 'personal computing' section, it'll show up on the WC forums. If you post your article in the 'gaming' sections, it'll show up on GalCivII or Sins of a Solar Empire. If you post your article in the 'politics' sections, it'll show up on the PM2008 page.

But if you pick the cool sections, like 'writing' or 'blogging' or 'life journals' or 'travel' or 'misc' or the kewl stuff like that, it'll stay on JU alone.

Woah....that's a useful feature!. Thanks SanChonino

So I guess this query's staying on JU alone.
