My place to shout out loud about random stuff.

See, I've been using the GIMP for a long time now, and I've gotten quite used to it, too. I always wanted to make wallpapers, and though I'm not good at doing that, it's a whole lot better than what I used to make a year ago. [Hint: crap]

What I want to do now is make a simple yet fancy wallpaper for the upcoming version of Firefox. It's my fave browser, and I've got plenty of ideas, but I wanted to ask one thing:

Can I use the official Firefox logo? I mean all the other stuff will be done by me, but do I have to make my own logo too? I read the WC upload guidelines and I think they only prohibit sports logos, so does that mean I don't need permission to use the browser logo? I was actually looking forward to uploading it on the WC site, so if anyone can explain how the copyrights\permission taking policy work, I'd really be grateful.

And if I can use the logo but I'll have to ask permission, do I contact Mozilla or something? I was looking forward to starting right away, so any help would be appreciated.

You probably need to post this under a WC category (like PC Customization, or something), not "blogging."
